MEET THE AHCP STAFF

KARI HAYMOND

owner/director

I was born in Nurnberg, Germany, but moved to Texas in 1976 and Dripping Springs in 1996. I have over twenty years of experience in Early Childhood Development. I began as a preschool teacher at Oak Hill United Methodist Church Preschool in 1996 and became the Director in 2004. I founded All His Children Preschool in 2009. My husband Chip and I have three fabulous children - Annie, Keith, and Nicholas. My hobbies include reading, cooking, gardening, and singing in my church choir. I look forward to meeting your family and guiding your child(ren) with love and experience through their first years of wonder and development!

TRICIA TREVIS

teacher, 4-year-olds

I was born in Liverpool, England, but Austin has been my home for almost thirty years.  My husband Adrian and I have two wonderful adult daughters named Joanna and Nicola. We also have a 110-lb black Lab named Wallace, and he's like our third child. I taught preschool for twenty years at Oak Hill United Methodist Church Preschool, and was its Director for ten years. I have worked at AHC since 2009, and I love teaching 4-year-olds! Their excitement and thirst for knowledge is unsurpassed, and their individual learning styles begin to shine. It’s my goal to instill an excitement and love for learning in each and every child.

DAWN PATERSON

teacher, 4-year-olds

I’m originally from Aberdeen, Scotland. I began my career in the travel industry, visiting many interesting and exotic locations. My husband Neil and I moved to Pennsylvania in 1994 and Texas in 2007, where we now live with our teenage daughter, Katie, and our high-maintenance poodle, Wrigley. Before All His Children I had experience helping out in a children's musical theatre group. I've now been a teacher's assistant for nearly ten years and have had great joy watching children grow and learn through fun and enriching curriculum.

LOETITIA 'TISH' NELSON

teacher, 2-year-olds

I have a Bachelor’s and Master’s Degree in Education from Texas State University.  I taught elementary school in San Antonio until my husband’s job took us to Massachusetts, where I started teaching preschool and fell in love with it.  I wasn’t crazy about the cold weather, though, and was happy after twelve years to move back to Texas. I tried to retire, but missed the energy and excitement of seeing young children explore and learn. I feel blessed to have the best job ever! My husband and I have two grown daughters and three beautiful grandchildren. When not in the classroom, I like searching for antiques to add to my many collections, reading, swimming, and traveling, especially to places with a beach.

CAROLYN HAIRE

teacher

We moved to Dripping Springs in 2016 from Fort Worth, but this area has been part of our hearts for a very long time. I am a product of this wonderful community and a graduate of Dripping Springs High School. My husband and I both graduated from Texas A&M. I received a degree in Genetics with a minor in psychology. I have a secondary degree in Cytogenetics from UT MD Anderson School of Health Sciences. I am a mommy to Cade and Anderson. In my free time, I love cooking, traveling, hiking and going on adventures with my boys! My husband and I both volunteer our time as den leaders for my son's cub scout den. Teaching and working with children has always been part of my heart, and I am thrilled to be given the opportunity to nurture, love and help your children grow.

MADISON PARRISH

teaching assistant, 2-year-olds

I have lived in Wimberley for over ten years with my parents and little brother, and a few four-legged animals, too! We have thirty goats, ten dogs, and one cat. I have always had a love for children and animals, and have decided to pursue a career in Early Childhood Development. I have been babysitting and nannying for family and friends since I was sixteen years old, and I am currently attending Austin Community College to pursue a major in Child Care and Development. I look forward to meeting your young ones at All His Children Preschool.

DIANE MAJEK

teacher, 4-year-olds

I recently retired from Austin Independent School District, where I taught first and second grade for 33 years. I am a National Board certified teacher in Early Childhood Education. My husband Mark and I have been married for over thirty years, and have two grown children, Kyle and Erin. We both come from huge families and have been surrounded by children for as long as I can remember! I am looking forward to continuing to work with small children with big futures.

TANYA CONREAUX

teacher, 3-year-olds

I have lived in Austin for 17 years. My husband Patrick and I have been married 13 years and have two children, Jace and Isla. I also work with a non-profit that encourages families with young children to volunteer in the community. In my free time I enjoy yoga, traveling, volunteering and spending time with family and friends. I'm very excited to be joining All His Children Preschool! I look forward to a year full of fun!

LEE LEROUX

teaching assistant, 3- and 4-year-olds

I was born and raised in Dublin, Ireland but Austin has been home to my husband Marc and I and our two boys Luca and Noah for more than 10 years. I have 5 years experience of teaching and aiding at the preschool level. I have a Bachelor of Business studies degree. I am an ardent traveler, always plotting my next destination. I love to create with my hands, be it in the kitchen, garden, sewing machine or with a bunch of preschoolers. I love to stay active by running, biking, swimming and practicing yoga. As a parent of  former alumni at All His Children, I can assure you that your child will thrive and learn and have so much fun at AHC Preschool. I am so excited to be a part of your child’s journey.

Leslie Ratliff-Parish

teaching assistant

I grew up and worked for the Texas Department of State Health in the Dallas / Fort Worth area, then moved to Wimberley in 2003 and became a stay-at-home mom. I have two kids - Madison and Gage - both of which are now grown. I began as a substitute aide for AHC Preschool and fell in love with the kids, teachers and parents. My free time these days is spent taking care of our family Boer goat ranch, which in itself is a full-time job! I am very excited to be included in the family here at All His Children Preschool and look forward to seeing new and returning students!

Aprille Newhart

teacher, 2-year-olds

I moved to Austin from NEPA (Northeast Pennsylvania area) in 2004. I've been a full-time nanny (and loving kids!) for over ten years. I have always had a heart to serve, with a love and passion for children. I've traveled the world, both near and fear, reaching out to families and children in need, including feeding the homeless of Austin. I love being outdoors, hiking, biking, and kayaking.
